Bom an explosion occurred in front of the Hotel JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton, Mega Kuningan, South Jakarta, at 7:50 WIB. At least 38 people injured and 9 of them died due to a bomb exploded at around 07.50 WIB, Friday [17/7/2009]. Among the victims killed are foreign citizens. Two bombs that exploded in the restaurant at the Marriott dynasty and Airlangga Restaurant at Ritz Carlton. One of the victims in the know is the President Director of PT. Holcim Tbk. "Timothy Mackay". Up to now, about the location of explosion is still tightly guarded by police officers. Access to the Mega Kuningan area was still closed.
